account data

sign-in is handled by clerk. when you create or use an account, biblioplex receives the account identity clerk provides, including your email address and authentication identifiers needed to connect your browser to your collection.

collection data

your collection data is stored with cloudflare services, including d1 for sync data, r2 for backups, and kv for share-link and recovery plumbing. cloudflare may process this data in us regions and on its global edge network so the app can sync and serve data reliably.

ads, sale, and analytics

biblioplex does not sell your data or run third-party ads. it uses posthog cloud us for anonymous product analytics and session replay so the site owner can understand which features are used and where the interface is confusing. analytics requests are routed through the first-party domain t.bensonperry.com before posthog processes them.

analytics can include page views, button and link clicks, browser and device details, and a replay of the page structure, pointer movement, scrolling, and interactions. replay may include card and deck names, searches, container names, imported text, and values entered in biblioplex forms. the signed-in account surface, clerk authentication UI, and password fields are excluded. query strings are removed from captured urls; console logs, network bodies, error capture, and performance capture are disabled. biblioplex does not send your clerk account identity or email to posthog and does not create a posthog person profile.

this collection is on by default for the us service. you can turn both analytics and replay off for the current browser in settings. biblioplex also honors supported global privacy control and do-not-track browser signals. posthog stores its browser state in local storage rather than setting an analytics cookie. see posthog's privacy notice for information about its processing.

export and deletion

you can export your collection from the app; the help guide describes the export data workflow. to request account or data deletion, use the feedback widget in the app or email the site owner with the account email you want deleted.

service terms

biblioplex is provided as-is, without warranty. it may change, break, lose availability, or produce incorrect estimates while it is in beta.

you retain ownership of your collection data. biblioplex needs permission to store, process, sync, back up, and display that data so the service can work.

do not abuse the service, attack the app or its infrastructure, attempt to access another person's data, or use biblioplex for unlawful activity. accounts may be suspended or removed for abuse.
